Harry Beaver founded Beaver Mining Supplies in 1988. From the beginning, Harry set out to build a company that could deliver the specialised expertise and service that he had needed during his years working in mining operations.

Starting from a small office in Bunbury, the company quickly outgrew this initial space, moving into its own facility in 1990. Strong company growth during the next five years led to the need for a purpose-built head office constructed in Bunbury in 1996. This provided much-needed additional office and warehouse space to cope with the growing business and team.

The company began serving overseas clients in the early 1990’s which led to the opening of its Perth warehouse in 1992. This location provided a facility to service the requirements of overseas clients as well as expanding the footprint of the Australian business.

In 2007 the company embarked on new growth strategy to take the company to the next level. The company has focused on two specialist areas: the supply of pipe, hose, valves and fittings to the mining industry in Australia, and the provision single source procurement and supply chain management services to overseas mines.

The Geraldton branch opened in 2008, established to serve the burgeoning mining industry in the Mid-West.

Today the company is stronger than ever, with a dynamic team focused on the delivering results to clients based on the same values of expertise, integrity and service that Harry founded the company upon over twenty years ago.
